Miguel
Cool ..I was mainly talking about your rings. Fluid test works well on heads like you are doing But it's only a guide for rings becuase of ring gaps and they really dont seat until warm, Like comp test. Readings go up on a warm lump. Im sure the bottom end is fine TBH and you diagnosis of the vales will bear fruit. Looks really clean and nice in there. Top Job and have fun. Ohh 2000th post ..thats me done for the year
b_have
Cheers Mig, just wish I had found something a little more dramatic. Have you experienced Supras with worn rings?
JohnA
The pistons look very clean indeed. I agree, WI must be the most likely reason. Shame you didn't do a leakdown while the engine was in one piece, now if you don't find dodgy valve sealing in those two cylinders can you put it back without a re-ring? What if the cylinders REMAIN low after you stick the engine back, can you risk that?

Its keeping me awake at night tbh.Anyways, the head goes away this week, I will do a compression check before the engine goes back in. Happy birthday btw (or not?) Lucifer
I'm sure your engine builder would be testing for valve leaks anyway - so hopefully you can sleep better.
