Hi to everyone,

I am looking for some race fuel, and have seen this "Cool Blue" fuel from 76 oils, it is suppose to be very good, they claim it is street legal, with 106 octane rating.

Has anyone used this? or heard of any thing about it?

Cheers!

Yes I've used it. Yes it works. Not a dedicated turbo fuel but is works fine. My car made nearly 100 bhp more with it as I could dial in more timing and boost without det.

Safe for the replies guys.

Gaz, Im gonna get my hands on a 10litre can tonight(hopefully), but they cannot get 25 litre ones,if it works fine,we'll need a bigger can, so let us know if you can deal with that.

Terry, a 100hp more you say.... ..:innocent: .......:D

Do a search on Nutid ltd. They sell the 76 stuff over here and will deliver to your door. They do a good 102 turbo fuel, but the cool blue is the best bang per buck. If you struggle I'll dig out the web site url. They even opened me a bloody account!

Adam I was talking to Keean about Dual BB@s last night. He is going to asses one very soon but they are more than twice the cost. Still think you want one:eek:

Pffft, drop in the ocean mate. I'm already so far in debt that another grand or two won't matter, right? ;) :D

No, seriously, Lar a SP has quoted $1100 for the new one I'm thinking of. Will have to keep an eye on it, looks like you and I could be obsolete and mine hasn't even run in anger yet :p

not bad price for turbo only as you have the kit already. is it just a case of unbolting and bolting other one on then getting it mapped?

have you looked here http://www.mjmturbos.com/CarTurboDescription.html

check the one called THE BLACK

i know SP seem to be on the ball with newest turbos.

Don't say that. I have the latest trick garrett wheel in mine, it's just not dual BB. I am a little suspect about them and Keane said there have been issues with the cartidge leaking. I am sure they are good but not the extra $$$$ worth. I am sure you know SP & BL both use the same turbo manufacturer, just one charges MUCH less.
