Suprash
Guys, thought I would put up my dyno sheets for everyone to strip apart and tell me whats what. Couple of things to note is I done 2 dynos first on a true twin setup (red and green ), then I done 2 runs on sequential (blue and pink ). So anything I should/could do to improve things, its taken me all day just to fugure out what it all says. On the day I was happy, I know you can only takethese figures with a pinch of salt, but looking forward to doing some mods and then comparing again. Suprash
Just looking at the boost graphs, it says I hit 14psi at 1.3, I thought 1.2 was around 18psi, the max you should go to. And also why does it drop of to around 1.0, shouldnt it hold at maximum ???? Anyway, I'll await someone that knows....
lovatt
my boost drops off at the end, pete told me it was because of the bleedvalve i have
osso
How the heck did they manage to measure the boost? did they put additional sensors in the engine bay? if they did, it would be interesting to know where they took the measurements. You will probably find that the reason why the boost drops of to around 1.0 after reaching a peak of 1.3 is because the Waste gate spring is only designed to hold at 1.0 bar any excess pressure would be released... but then i could be talking bollox, after all, im only a software engineer! lovatt
i saw pete take a pipe off the plenum (sp ?) chamber and connect a pipe from the dyno to it, i think this monitored the boost, but i am only guessing. it did monitor the boost though as i have a graph showing it

You have become obsessed with wastegates James , explain my 1.5 bar holding all the way then Dude:flame Dev
osso
Thats easy dude, you've welded your wastegate shut! lol.. so how else would you explain a drop off from 1.3 to 1.0 apart from the possibility of the BOV leaking I suppose i was talking bollox, afterall, you can get upto 1.4 + bar removing the both CATS. I always thought that wastegates were sprung shut with a spring that had a pressure limit, maybe not.

It looks like the pressure was rising very quickly up to that point. James.
