suprattgaz
Don't know if this is common knowledge, but if your engine bay is looking a bit shite because of all the salt etc. on the roads recently you can spray duck oil all over the engine bay. Need to de-grease if you want to do any work or you'll get messy, but stops things corroding, seazing and protects electricals. Also blings it up and makes it look all shiney. Old trick from guys at work who have collectables. Obviously wipe off oil, dust and corrosion before spraying. Gary
Ray
Duck oil ehhh? Where can i get some of this shizza from? Ps are you going to show a picture of your engine bay after you spray some on? See if it gets our approval
suprattgaz
Get it from any car shop, same as WD-40, just a bit more viscous. I will take a photo in the minute. Had a clean and polish day. Also fitted new spoiler and spats!

suprattgaz
WD-40 will do the same trick. Just Duck oil (I bought mine in Autoquip, £2.99 ( + discount;) )) is slightly thicker and won't drip everywhere. Gary
Paul
WD40 is nasty stuff where rubber is concerned, I wouldn't coat my engine in it. Paul
suprattgaz
Well then use this duck stuff, I can't see it doing any harm, these guys at work (professional engineer) used to tune the le mans cars so I guess they know what they are on about!
