lockys96
Had a flat battery this morning, so i had to open the bonnet to get her going. here i noticed the throttle cable is quite slack, isnt it meant to be tight? http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/5581/cable13pd.jpg http://img49.imageshack.us/img49/9013/cable23pp.jpg http://img231.imageshack.us/img231/7058/cable35pp.jpg Is this the same as a thread on here before, How to transform your car into a supercar? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=55984&highlight=transform+supercar Am i missing out on real power, or is it meant to be like that? thanks si
uk-rich
mine was like that, the two locking nuts on the bracket can be used to adjust the slack, 14mm i think (maybe 12mm!). just make sure you don't adjust it too much, so it holds the throttle open
lockys96
I also seem to experience some sort of lag, after shifting from 2nd gear near to 7rpm, to 3rd and straight back onto the power after, i usually get a delay before the car picks up again? anything to do with this
