eyefi Posted March 3, 2006 Share Posted March 3, 2006 Bugger! it looks like the IAC stepper if fooked! took it off earlier and cleaned and tested it, found the relevant pages from the manual, and tested it by supplying 12V and grounding the pins in sequence, and found that there is no real movement!! unless its supposed to move in thousandths of an inch! which i doubt, so has anyone got a spare they can sell/loan me? did you test it correctly? i seem to remember that you apply 12v to a few teminals at once. i could be wrong so check it before you try.
