Company car tax

I've heard from a couple of people now that there's a way to get out of paying company car tax if you have adverts for the company along the side of the car. Has anyone else heard of anything like this or know any more details? It sounds a bit unlikely to me but I could handle a sticker or two if it saves me a couple of hundred quid a month!

my old boss paid tax on his company cars and he had adverts over them. So i dont see it possible, coz he was tighest sod ive ever met. You wouldnt of been able to slide a 2p between his butt cheeks he was that tight!

why would you want to put 2p in his arse?

the tax has changed form this year i have a company van and the new tax is , I dont have to pay tax on it if i dont use it out of work ie drive home and park up for the night. then get in it and go to work the next day . No sure about cars tho.

yep this is true as i have a company van and a fuel card and dont pay anything on tax for it, but it "should only" be used for work... :)

If you have a company car its a different story, think you pay quite a bit for them..
