Steviekid
I've heard from a couple of people now that there's a way to get out of paying company car tax if you have adverts for the company along the side of the car. Has anyone else heard of anything like this or know any more details? It sounds a bit unlikely to me but I could handle a sticker or two if it saves me a couple of hundred quid a month! mrdsukautos
Only way out of it is to have the car designated a pool car by the company Though this then means the taxman expects to see different mileage/petrol slips handed in by different people each and every week so it looks like the car really is a pool car. No sure about cars tho. yep this is true as i have a company van and a fuel card and dont pay anything on tax for it, but it "should only" be used for work... If you have a company car its a different story, think you pay quite a bit for them..
mrdsukautos
Vans dont come under this as they are a dedicated work vehicle unlike a car which is looked upon as a bonus/personal gain ie taxable income as it means you dont have to buy a car to use for non work hours
