charlieboo
Hi all, At work we were wondering what ODO stands for, we can't find it on the internet either. Thanks, Peter ODO is short for odometer. It's like speedometer, so breaking it down, speed-o-meter hense od-o-meter. Not sure what the OD stands for, maybe Overall Distance? No idea if this is true, I just made it up. Sounds pretty good to me though.

charlieboo
Just found this on wikipedia. An odometer is a device used for indicating distance traveled by an automobile or other vehicle. It may be electronic or mechanical. The word derives from the Greek words hodōs, meaning "path" or "way", and mētron, "measure".
JohnA
It is derived from the Greek 'odos' meaning 'road' The odo-meter just counts how much road you've used
