Sub_Culture
Hello all, Going to fit my Do Luck spats over the next couple of days and cant decide how to play it. My options are;..... 1.Bond spats on and use a little fibreglass to take away the seam line. Not to lose the shape, but purely just to make it one continuing shape. Only problem is Im not sure if this will look odd, as there will still be the line seperating the rear quarter from the rear bumper. 2.Offer spats up, mark a line all the way down the spats where the bumper line would be, cut the spats in half (vertically), and bond one part onto the rear quarter, and the other onto the rear bumper, so as to keep the original bumper line. 3.Bond the rear bumper to the rear quarters with a high impact epoxy bond, then skim over the bumper line and blend the spats in, making a very smooove rear. But would this look to smooth? Anyone else blended their rear bumper? Would be great to see pics if you have. Any other opinions??? A very confused (and somewhat bored of thinking about a bodykit!!!) ChrisSZ
Pay the kid and a mate a few quid a day to run alongside the cr holding them in place - very useful when you ned to remove them for speed bumps etc!! LOL
Sub_Culture
Kind of. The sideskirts will have a bead of fibreglass blending them in, so retaining all the original lines, no shape loss, but the appearance of one panel. Im not over keen on the whole 'bolt on' look. Not sure about the back of the sideskirts yet, the part where they replace the air ducting panels. Cant decide whether to leave that vertical line or blend it in.
