Guest chiefvinso
Gave the soop an oil change today and checked all other levels. Brake fluid was ok, but noticed a filler going into the bulk head (right next to brake fluid master cylinder) with use dot 3 brake fluid. I took the cap off and theres a thing shaped and coloured like a minstrel floating. I'm assuming its the clutch fluid but want confirmation. Also as it is at min I want to fill, so do I use dot 3 or can I use a higher grade of brake fluid - oh and whats with the floating minstrel??? Cheers, Keith

Guest chiefvinso
I'll use what it says on the cap. My concern is this minstrel shape floating in the reservoir?
Guest chiefvinso
So does no one know what this thing in the clutch reservoir is (looks and is the same size as a minstrel)? I've just left it as it was, floating but would like to know more about it. Cheers
Ian W
is it attached to anything?
Alex
It's in all the clutch reseviors so leave it in there! Not sure of its purpose other than clearly seeing the level without taking the cap off....
chilli
I just found one of these mintrels and come on here to check out what it is! I took it out, but now I'm putting it back in. Does it have any other purpose?
