Speedo Sticking

Hmmmmm...

I was doing a steady 80 on the motorway, slowed down to turn off and the speedo stuck at 75 for about 3 miles.

It came alive again until I accelerated after a P1 (bloody fast BTW) onto a dual carriageway. The needle stuck at about 40 for a few miles before moving properly again.

Ive had no problems with the speedometer since I got the car last May although I suspect its a dodgy KPH/MPH conversion or the needle is sticking somehow.

The dial is reads up to 115mph and the odometer is still in KPH...

Any ideas?

I made my OWN needle stick after I stuck a Home-Made face on the

Speedo...... :stupid:

I hadn't stuck the print onto the plastic card strongly enough, it started

lifting and 'dragging' the needle....

had to completely remove/refit it, been OK ever since.

Could be similar...... could be 'slightly' bent needle.... ? ?

FatS.
