Turning the boost up!!!

Guys,

Am I right in thinking if I take my sup to a turning shop, get a boost controller installed, they can then do the following........or is it more complex?

Put it on there rolling road, so they can eek as much power/boost pressure out of it, while at the same time checking for det with some sort of sensor that they stick up the exhaust?

I no the general idea is not to go above 1.2bar on stock fueling........ but the above way has two possible benefits...... I may be able to eeek a little more power out of the sup and i can also check for det!!!!

Basically yes, and if your were in the Midlands I'd say come to us.

Although in my 4 years of tuning Supras you'd be hard pushed to get much more than 18psi on standard fuel regulator, pump and 440cc injectors and still have some protection against v.hot weather conditions. You shouldn't always take it to the max, if it's your every day car.

Regards

Pete
