Tricky-Ricky
What sort of limitations does the std Supra IC have? is it as bad as most factory ICs? would it be worth making a Skyline GTR one fit, as a stop gap? or better to wait and fit a dedicated fit IC when funds allow? merckx
Depends on what power you've got and boost presssure you're running I would think. A standard intercooler will work fine on a stock car as long as it's in reasonable condition, mine wasn't so I've just replaced it with a new Chris Wilson intercooler. The car's running great and I'm not worried now about pushing it too hard when the warmer weather comes.
JohnA
What sort of limitations does the std Supra IC have? is it as bad as most factory ICs? nope, it's better than most factory ICs in fact. What it lacks in sheer size it makes up in pure, clean airflow through the excellent ducting. Plus the warm air exiting the core doesn't go into the engine bay or the water rad core.
