bignum
Hi guys, quick question, recently fitted an oil temperature gauge with sender in a sump adapter, the thing ive noticed is when driving around the gauge only shows 50 degrees even on the motorway for an hour, but when stopped in traffic the temp starts to rise to about 70 degees, this dosent seem correct to me,so if anyone has any more info please let me know, cheers in advance,si
terribleturner
That's very odd. Mine takes about 4-5mins to get to 50 (off boost), then after that (on boost) it goes up fine. Is it in the sump plug do you know??

terribleturner
After about 10 minutes i'm up to between 70-90 depending how i'm driving. Within half an hour i'm usually hitting 100/110. Did you install it or a garage?? Could be the sensor isn't in far enough.
