Brian Jackett Posted January 19, 2002 Share Posted January 19, 2002 The restrictor that I am going to put in my exhausts to get boost levels down is simply the same as a gasket but just made out of stainless steel with a smaller hole to restrict flow. It would make no difference to the noise of the exhaust system, IMO. The only thing in an exhaust to reduce noice is a baffle.
