I hate lorries (aggregate), bonnet damage, help needed, thanks

I was out driving, on way back from town, and i catch up to this aggregate lorry, thought ok, i will keep my distance. next thing i know bits of aggregate start flying off it.

A few pieces fly off and hit my bonnet, crap. got home and its now taken the metallic silver paint off.

 

Any ideas what i can use to keep it from rusting, something i can match the silver paint to or generally repair the damage to the bonnet.

thanks both of you for the info and speedy reply, i will go and get some Lucerne tomorrow as Halfords is next to Tesco's

 

i was a bit worried as the few chips on the bonnet were showing down to the darker (charcoal colour) surface.

 

one again thanks for the help, don't want to let the side down when i attend meets in the future, and have a dodgy bonnet
