Mine suffers from the same fault, but a well placed "tap" on the side cures it. Ive had it out, but every time i do it works fine, just something loose. it is very easy to get to.. just a gentle lever with a screw driver around the trim and it just unclips.

Dont think it would be a fuse as normally more than one thing stops working.

If my memory serves me correct there should also be a screw which you need to undo. Here's a step by step guide from Heckler's website! :ok:
