These people who you say have "come to our country" are quite often just as English as you are, brought up here from birth, they just have different beliefs and traditions. I don't agree with any religion if I'm being honest, but I really think certain people should think about what they say before putting it on a PUBLIC forum. Why don't the ethnic minorities accept that they live in a 'multi-cultural society' and accept that Christmas is going to happen, as is Easter/Midnight mass/weddings etc. How come they get a mosque because they're the poor minority, but the christians have to give up their religion? Ok lets get one thing straight here, I wasn't accusing anyone of being a racist, believe me. And I TOTALLY and COMPLETELY agree with the things you are saying about ethnic minorities affecting the way we celebrate Xmas, or don't (as the case may be). It is totally wrong for anyone, whether it be white 'Christian' (whatever that means nowadays!) Muslim, Sikh anything to try and affect the way anybody else celebrates events such as Xmas. The ONLY problem I had was the "fuck off back to their own country" line. This is overused, and to people who have just as much of a right to be here as you or I do. Hey I'm not trying to be a big tough guy shouting my mouth off, just annoys me sometimes that people think all ethnic minorities are 'from another country'. SO, as much as I agree with the overall point, there are ways to phrase things so as not to offend certain people, because you never know who's reading....
