MARTIN R
sounds like rubbish, although most drivers do tend not use them:no:
Kopite
From http://www.highwaycode.gov.uk/17.htm#160 162: Signals and position, unless signs or markings indicate otherwise. When taking the first exit signal left and approach in the left-hand lane keep to the left on the roundabout and continue signalling left to leave. When taking any intermediate exit select the appropriate lane on approach to and on the roundabout, signalling as necessary stay in this lane until you need to alter course to exit the roundabout signal left after you have passed the exit before the one you want. When taking the last exit or going full circle signal right and approach in the right-hand lane keep to the right on the roundabout until you need to change lanes to exit the roundabout signal left after you have passed the exit before the one you want. When there are more than three lanes at the entrance to a roundabout, use the most appropriate lane on approach and through it.

Green Peace
Thanks for the replies and Highway code reference! I just had a roadrage incident near my house...a bloke comes onto the rounderbout and turns right no indicators at all...he then had the cheek to toot his horn so I just stopped and shouted...'you need to get your indicators fixed!!!' He then said 'you dont have to indicate on rounderbouts' I was like 'well you do in the UK mate!' I just wanted to check up ...I think i'm going to phone Harrow BSM tommorow and kindly ask their Instructors to re-take their bloody tests..seems to be a permenant problem here and all 'new' drivers... Na oddly enough Fifty he was driving a Fiat..he looked like a typical BMW driver though:sly:
