Feakins
Sounds like it has been set to English(American) settings. Try re-installing it as English(British) layout. Which operating system do u have?

Shovels
Hello Mate, Start -> Settings -> Control Panel - Regional and Language Options Change keyboard to English (United Kingdom) in both sections under the regional Options Tab and also under the Advanced Tab. You'll probably need to restart the PC. Neal.

far
the stuff you know dude You da man ;-) suppose I can cope with that then until my miniscule brain figures out a more long term solution Now why would they ever want to program that in as a function I wonder? Unless they knew that keyboards screw up like mine has (or people screw up like I have!) lol
michael
Hello Mate, Start -> Settings -> Control Panel - Regional and Language Options Change keyboard to English (United Kingdom) in both sections under the regional Options Tab and also under the Advanced Tab. You'll probably need to restart the PC. Neal. It's also worth removing the US keyboard option (English - United States) to stop you enabling it with a fat finger key combo (Left Alt & Shift by default I think?). It's also worth trying Left Alt & Shift (or the key combo set up in the advanced options mentioned above) to see if this goes back to the proper keyboard setup. GeordieSteve
Yep it's set to US. You'll need a reboot to change it as well
