terribleturner
Ok, been playing with this on and off for a few weeks now. But i'm having a slight problem. How can i get the page to sit center when i open a page?? You know how when you open say the Supra forum and it fills out the page, well mine seem to just always sit on the left and i want it to adapt to the window size
TRD3000GT
when you make I take it you structure the page with tables>? You need to set the master tabe to 100% width so that it automatically adapts to the screen with. You the need to induvidually width each column within the table so that when all the percentages are added together they reach 100%

Lewis
I have no idea what any of you are on about about what so ever. Simply an ego thing, noone in the industry uses notepad, there is no point, no syntax highlighting, no linecount (there is one, but it's wrong). With the advent of the wysiwyg editor noone uses notepad any more. More so with dreamweaver because it conforms to industry and web standards for editing pages and CSS. Most people who have developed a few pages will sit there and tell people that they code in notepad, complete crap! There is no reason to and I defy anyone to tell me different. It's like saying that you format a harddrive by manually converting each binary sector to a 0, anyone can do it, but why the f*ck would you? Anyway, bring on the arguments! Lewis
Whoever said they coded in assembly (or implied it) fair play, it isn't a commonly used language, you will be on 50k or so yes? (no need to answer) And matt, I see you are just following the thread and meant nothing by your binary comment but for reference, it isn't even used in CPu design anymore, I fail to see any other uses for it other than I/O bus instructions ?! hey ho! Lewis Damn, the 1337'ness failed!! I've always used Dreamweaver personally, it does virtually everything i need it too As for the CPU design, how does a computer work at all if it doesnt convert into binary at the lowest level? Lewis
I have no idea what I was talking about, hardware still uses binary as there is no logical way to move to octet or hex (or beyond). I must have had a brain fart or something, I ono?
JohnA
Back to Dreamweaver, it's brilliant, most of my site I made in Dreamweaver v4 (except the flash menus etc)
Lewis
realised what I was on about - was talking about designs currently in the making for Qubit machines no longer requireing binary input in any form (rather than 0*/1^ a Qubit can exist as either a 0 a 1 or a 0 & 1 which is known as a quaternary. It uses quantum mechanics for it's rules rather than physics. I think it's all still theory though?!? Did a google search but it didn't come up with much.
