Hello, 2 quick questions...

1. On the passanger side, the pointy bit of the rear spat has come away from the bumper, only buy about 1 to 2 cm. what can i use to stick it back down?

2. I have the stupid rubber bits around my rear number plate. they look terrible. how easy it to remove them, and will it leave much of a mess?

Cheers ppl.

1. don't have a clue mate. how the hell did it 'come away'?

2. don't know if it'll leave a mess mate but you'll have a gap showing if your plate isn't big enough (i think). couldn't you just colour-code the surround instead?

i think the stuff is called 'Tigerseal' its meant to be really good for bonding stuff like spats etc.

i think the spat probably wasnt glued on properly in the first place perhaps. i'll try and get a pic to show what I mean...

note sure about colour coding, the rubber is already black, and the car is black. but hardly anyone else has them on their bumpers...

my number plate at the moment pretty much fills the gap between the rubber bits...

The number plate you've got should be big enough to cover the hole mate but the plastic thing might have rubbed on the paint a little.

You won't know till you take it off. It'll look so much better though. I think they are f'in crap and ruin the look of the car.

If you look at the bits behind the plastic 'fillers' there you can see that the black painted bits go down to about level with the reversing lights (look at the left hand one, you can see the shiny black paint between the slats). I suspect if you take them off you can fit a bigger plate to then cover up the holes in the rear bumper, something like the attached.

http://www.fancyplates.com (or is it .co.uk) will be able to sort you out.
