MRX Posted October 12, 2005 Share Posted October 12, 2005 Just had my first MOT since buying the motor a year ago and it failed… Items That Failed 1 Rear fog lamp not working (Forgot to put back on before MOT) 2 Near side front tyre has cut deep enough to reach cords 3 Nearside rear shock absorber has serious fluid leak Advisory 1 Offside Front shock absorber has light misting of oil 2 Nearside rear upper suspension arm has slight play in pin/bush 3 Offside rear upper suspension arm has slight play in pin/bush Info on what is required to resolved the play in the pin/brushes would be appreciated… Looks like im gonna be after 4 new shocks, 2 x Goodyear Eagle F1’s 235x45x17.
