18" Wheels and tyres, trade for.....

I have just bought a supra and am picking it up this weekend. It is totally standard and as part of the deal I managed to negotiate 4 new avon tyres on the standard wheels. Trouble is I want to change to 18" rims as soon as I can.

Does anyone want to get their car back to standard? Want to negotiate a trade of somekind?

Let me know if you are interested.

Yeah it was on ebay fella. It didn't sell and I was getting really hacked off with a certain trader (not off here before anyone starts the name and shame crap lol) so I gave up on ebay. I will have a set of 18" rims with good tread on them at some point but I'm really after swapping them for 17"s as I have UK brakes on my car, I'm not sure what brakes are on the supra I might be taking on a PX for mine. If they are J-spec brakes I will almost definitely have a set of 18"s to swap. Just out of interest what price were you thinking of buying it at?

It depends what type of wheels you have to swap. How much were you looking for? Are they the wheels in the pic? or to you have any pics of them?

When you say good tread...any ideas how much in mm? Good brand tyres?

Any curb marks on your wheels?

Not sure what the tyres are like on these yet.

There are no scuffs or damage marks on the azevs as I refurbished them before I put the new tyres on. The condition of the alloys on the other car aren't known to me. Money is something we would have to discuss really depending on which wheels I end up with for swap.

The 16"s you can't even give away fella I know I have 2 sets. The tyres on these 18"s cost me £800 before fitting. Plus I reconditioned them. At £700 against 16"s Its robbing me lol. The azevs are about £350 a pop as well afaik. EDIT http://www.tifbitz.co.uk/ £309 front £325 rear

OH and thats not me being condescending fella its just the way it is with 16"s I'm afraid

prob bes to sell the tyres seperatly then an buy 18s after!

Almost definitely chap. It really doesn't matter what tyres are on 16"s most people will not pay more than £100 for a set with spanking new tyres on. Supply and demand. Have a checksee there is another set for sale at the mo. Want some advice?

Run the tread off the ones you have then get 18"s. Keep the 16"s for track use or just as spares. Thats just advice though lol. I'd also try and see if a set of 17"s came up as they are a much more comfortable ride lol.
