jackso11
I have read a few post on here about changing the digital ODO to miles and there seems to be a problem with incorrect reads? is there a way around this? I have just bought my car and the garage I am getting it from (pick it up sat morning!!) are sorting out the ODO for me as part of the deal. Will it read the right milage? or do I need to do something to it...buy a new clock...to get the correct reading?
Jake
You can get the reading changed so that it displayswhat it has done so far but in miles rather than Kms. My grey had this done before I bought it. The seller showed me the receipt, it was surprisingly cheap too. Sadly I can't find the receipt anymore but I know it can be done. jackso11
was the reading correct? There is a post on here somewhere about it, dated 2001, saying when it changed over it shows more miles...some kind of error. Did yours have this problem? supragold
Mine was changed to miles and I got a receipt to say it was done properly (like a certificate really) and it has on there that I have to minus something like 25,000 off of the total to give an overall miles reading? I don't know I just drive.

Did yours have this problem? No, mine was fine and still is 2½ years later. It was done at about 110,000 kilometers and the Odo displayed just under 70,000 after the conversion. jackso11
I have just spoken to bonsaicars.com about trying to get the digital odo converted to miles. They told me it will be classed as clocking it! Has anyone had the odo converted? had any troubles with MOT? If anyone has had this done in the london area, please let me know where I can get it done. somewhere that will issue a certificate please!
