jaymdee Posted August 15, 2019 Share Posted August 15, 2019 Car not been used for some time and have got it back on the road, MOTd etc but it won’t boost properly / barely anything. Did the temporary TTC mod and boost will build to about 1bar and then slowly drop off at WOT. I then found back in normal seq mode if I pump the throttle 4 or 5 times I can get both turbos on line and again keeping the pedal to the floor, the boost then drops away. But then have to do this every time as there is no stored pressure in the system, so clearly a leak. I think that this proves the vsvs and actuators are working ok (and turbos) but the problem seems to be the pressure tank and/or pressure tank hoses. Is there anything else it could be? I’m minded to replace the pressure tank and hoses as they are now 25 years old. Does anyone have experience of the tank failing or buying a replacement?
