pedrosixfour
Where a stock wheel has 30mm clearance with the j-specs you only have 20mm with your wheels, meaning you've lost 10mm already. That 10mm is all the clearance available when you look at the UK specs on stock wheels. 10mm you won't have with your wheels.

X13mgr
Thanks pedro is that clearance just from the caliper? Or the carrier as I have nearly 40mm from the caliper
pedrosixfour
I can't answer that for definite, but I'd assume that 30mm is minimum clearance, so is the gap between the wheel and whichever part of the brake assembly sticks out most. Which, from what you're describing, is the carrier. But don't give up yet. A lot depends on the shape of your wheel's spokes. They may just fit with a fairly light spacer (5mm or so). They may just fit with no spacer at all, but I wouldn't bet a kidney on it!
