C12MMO Posted February 28, 2017 Share Posted February 28, 2017 Long story cut slightly shorter, I work in a family business that sells various products and services into the manufacturing industry. A year ago today we had a van stolen with the keys in. Driver had got out and turned the vehicle off and someone jumped in and drove away in it. Insurance paid out after arguing for a month, we now have 3 delivery vans and 5 company cars, the insurance renewal this year is over £8k which seems extortionate. We pick a new van up 2moro and our current broker has taken a month to come back with the insurance quote. Their excuse for the high cost is because of the theft and because 2 vehicles have 0 no claims. Obviously the new van won't have any no claims as it's brand new and anyone driving it uses their no claims on their own vehicles. Anyone here have any experience or pointers of where I can get some better quotes / advise. There are 10 people with access to the vehicles 8 over 25.
