morgaine
Hi guys, I know somewhere on there there must be the idiots guide to swapping brake components, but I can't find it. I need to swap calipers, disks and pads on the front and I am missing the existence of a trusty Haynes manual, which is invaluable to paranoid people like me who always think they will stuff something up. In the interests of not putting my baby through a wall at a ton, please could someone send me a link? Cheers Morg
osso
As a general rule, idiots shouldnt be swapping brake components anyway

morgaine
Unfortunately I am now at the point where it's fix her myself or sell her I don't mind doing basic stuff - always hated brakes though. Not many things will kill you if you do it wrong but that will. Hence the paranoia
JohnA
As a general rule, idiots shouldnt be swapping brake components anyway harsh but true. That was my first thought too
morgaine
It's not that I'm not perfectly capable of doing it. I swapped the engine in my MkIIIT. I just hate brakes. And as I haven't had to do my own for the last 5 years, I thought it would be sensible to get some instructions. In my experience it's always the people who don't like to ask who end up in trouble.
