lust2luv
Second appeal for help. Bought the attached remote control Supra in the States last year. The rechargeable battery just plugs into a power outlet to recharge, however it's obviously designed for an American outlet. Can I just use a travel adaptor to plug it into a socket here, or is the higher voltage gonna fry it? If so, is there anywhere I can buy a UK proof replacement battery? Cheers guys! psymon
You should just be able to plug any NiCad battery in.... Try http://www.modelsport.co.uk I get most of my stuff from them
lust2luv
Cheers for the link, this battery looks like a straight swap: battery but wouldn't I just need to change the charger, maybe for this one?: charger And would using the American charger with a travel plug be dangerous? Many thanks
suprz_rz
The yank charger will run from 110V. We have 230V here, so unless it says universal Mains adaptor, or something like that, then it will fry!
