Different Indicator/Wiper stalks

Hey folks.

 

I'vev been thinking about this for a little while, Has anyone every tried to change the indicator and wiper unit over, or even just the stalks? I've noticed that more modern cars have big chunky ones and to be honest, I think they look better than the older style. Was thinking of maybe trying a change over.
