jdmjak Posted September 8, 2014 Share Posted September 8, 2014 So the car has been making some knocking type noises that sound like there coming from the propshaft or some part of the transmission when under hard acceleration. I fitted a new clutch a couple of days ago ad now it seems to be worse! :/ Has anyone had anything like this before and know of a fix? Guest FullAttack Posted September 9, 2014 Share Posted September 9, 2014 Did you look at the prop shaft centre bearing when you did the clutch? Iv seen some that are very perished, it's easy enough to get a new centre bearing, you can take it to your local prop shaft shop and they'll get the right bearing and fit it. Should cost less than £100. If its not that, it'll be in the gearbox or in the diff... Or something completely unrelated.. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
