There must be some reliable industrial 12v pumps that fit the bill that are a fraction of the price. Anything for a boat / caravan / pool / performance car seems to attract a massive markup and there are usually industrial equivalents to be found at sensible prices. They are physically bigger, are not as sensitive with high percentages of alcohol, but cannot reach the high pressures of Aquamist. Boost pressure would push the water via a nozzle and discharge in front of the compressor like an oversized carb.
