Scoboblio
Had my MOT today (which it passed with flying colours ) My emission results seem too good to be true though, okay so I've got both cats in, but surely I could remove them both and still be well within limits? Fast Idle Test: CO: Limit = 0.30% My reading = 0.09% HC: Limit = 200ppm My reading = 13ppm Natural Idle Test: CO: Limit = 0.50% My reading = 0.01% Obviously I'm very happy, but just a bit curious. Does this seem at all realistic to everyone?

dangerous brain
Cheers mate.I just want to know if the cats out will give a high hydrocarb reading, if it does then I'm happy to buy the car I am looking at with dead cats, if not however I am going to be a bit dubious
heckler
I'm pretty sure it failed on every part on the emissions... but will check
dangerous brain
I'm just wondering how much it effects the hydro-carbons. That apparently is usually a sign of overfuelling or under ignition.
