trouble round 3000 Rev' any ideas?

Just had work done on the Supe to repair Crank and block shells...

 

The car is back together but the garage has said it is now slightly holding back almost like a limiter on 3000rpm in second and third for a second or two before "tacking off"..

any advice.. i did do a search and found a couple of posts with some pos' problems, but i now cant find those posts. sorry, idiot that I am.

 

Any ideas?

garage think it may be throttle position sensor? anyone know a source to find these, toyota are after £150..

just wanted to see anyone has had the same problem and the out comes before i shell out?

 

Think they have checked FCD and turbos were fine before crank repair..

 

any help would be great...
