mikeyb10supra
Does removal of the trac fuse get rid of the 155mph speed limit???? and will obviously disable the trac control? Mikey

womble
forgot to mention this is for a J-spec??? does this still apply?? Ah, No. Completly different kettle of fish which being the owner of a UK spec I've never gone into. Sure someone will be along soon to help though. JohnA
I've thought about permanently taking off the TRAC fuse. There are downsides: 1. mine is an auto, so the gearchanges will be harsh all the time. Bad for the box. 2. removal of the 155mph limit will only lead to trouble, nasty trouble most likely. Also not sure if the ECU goes into a semi-protective mode once it realises that TRAC is dead. May not be an issue with 6sp.
irfan_habib
I didn't realise there was a 155mph limit. Is this for all Supes? I'd only heard of the 112mph one on J-Specs... Edit: Have just done a search and found that the J-Spec ones were limited to 112 and the UK ones to 155...

The 155 limit applys to many cars inc BMWs, Mers'c, Audis etc. Not for long though as I believe they're strongly considering scrapping it due to people likes of Porsche and ferrari not their bit. 200 MPH M5 = Cool
