adam1983 Posted April 12, 2012 Share Posted April 12, 2012 Was trying to fit a new steering wheel last night but ran into a slight problem. My old steering wheel only had one connection on the back of the horn button and the new one has two. Obviously one is for the horn and the other is for the earth connection. My questions are: Is the earth cable I need readily available? What I mean is can I just nip into halfords and pick one up. The cable will clip onto the connector on the back of the horn button with a spade connector. Where does the other end of the cable attach to? Colin-mkiv Posted April 12, 2012 Share Posted April 12, 2012 Earth it to the steering column/ Adaptor hub via a ring with a male spade connection on it. You often get these with your Momo kit or wheel. I just checked Ebay and couldnt find one, I have one or 2 here, I could be persuaded to part with one.....maybe.......
