VVT-I: MAF-Sensor faulty?

At 80mph suddenly the car lost power...wouldn't accelerate. Let the car roll until it halted. Engine won't idle, immediately stalls, won't rev higher than 3000 rpm.

Pulled the MAF-Sensor and car runs fine in emergency mode. At 3000 rpm car begins to stutter, won't reach positive boost levels.

I drove it to a Toyota dealer who is checking the MAF-Sensor now.

Any other probable causes? Throttle sensor? Turbos blown(unlikely)?

No mods, car is bone stock.
