Steve
When driving my Supe there is a vibration from the rear at about 60mph, but then goes at 80mph. Had the wheels checked by two garages to check the balancing and they are fine. I thought i would check for play in the rear wheels and when twisting side to side there is a bit of play there. So is this the wheel bearings that are knackered and causing the vibration. How much are they and how easy are they to change? Thanks
normore1
Could be the wheel bearing. Depends on the amount of play. Also could be bent wheel rim. Both are common problems on the Supra. Wheel bearings tend to be suspect for failing around 100k miles. derek

Alex
Can't really advise anything - I expect it has to be seen/felt to get a good understanding. But it sounds like a rotating mass, or something in direct contact with a rotating mass. Wheels, discs (not on straight enough), driveshaft links, hubs. Personally I think I would run over to CW in Shropshire it's not THAT far from Northants.
