eyefi
where is the odo info kept?? ecu, odo?
JamesG
It's in the ECU, I think. When you unplug the odometer unit, it resets the trip counters but not your mileage. James.

THOR Racing
I think it's held in the actual ODO itself. As replacing an old Odo with a new one straight from Toyota gives you 000000 miles and not what you used to have. So it cannot be held in the ECU. (If by ECU you mean the main engine management unit) There are about 4-5 Control Units's in total in the Supra, all doing different things. It's stored in some non-volatile memory on the odo. mazman
yeah,it wouldnt be on the ecu,as when i replaced my ECU(with aftermarket),the ODO stilled worked..so its stored somewhere else.
