far
...upgrading from 2003 to 2007, I was wondering once I run the software will all my emails in Outlook be wiped or will they just transfer over to the new Outlook 2007 program? cheers Far
edinlexusV8
I would also take a back up of the .pst files for all you mail accounts. Check these link: http://forums.techguy.org/web-email/646569-upgrading-outlook-2003-outlook-2007-a.html http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/backupandrestore.htm

Smallshinyant
I will Third the idea of backing up. Export all the mailbox (including contacts/calendar/Journal) to a PST. then re-import them after the upgrade.
far
cheers dudes - can I not just drag and drop them onto a USB and then drag them back into outlook 2007?
Smallshinyant
Goto File -> Archive in there, choose the very top of the folders (should say something like your name and mailbox). Tick the include items not to auto archive, then choose an oldest date(set to the 1900's to get everything) -> Choose where you want it to be archived too (i.e. Memory stick) and wala! Depending on the size of mailbox this could take a while.
