help needed with MR2 steering rack

I'm trying to swap my MR2 Turbo (rev 3, 1994) power steering rack for a manual rack. I've got a rack from a 1991 NA car, but am trying to work out what else I need to swap, but the Toyota EPC is a nightmare to decipher.

 

I clearly need a new universal joint to connect the steering column to the rack , but from looking at the EPC, it seems I may need a whole new steering column (and associated parts)

 

Have any of the ex-MR2 owners got experience of this?
