Scott Posted July 2, 2010 Share Posted July 2, 2010 Took him being beat to be mentioned in this thread, other than by myself, so I guess he was always Scottish this year..... thanks to England getting gubbed and the sour grapes being dished out in reckless abandon I missed the match due to working late but reading the report says that he was never in the match, Nadal just played a blinder. Rotten luck for the guy as Nadal has been ropey in all of his previous matches. This was definitely the time to do it IMO. I'm saying that as if he is past it lol. He will need to come up with a sharper edge to get a slam. The one thing I really like about Murray is his determination. When his fitness was found out a few years back he worked at it until he was virtually the fittest player. Hopefully he can show the same grit and determination and work on other areas of his game.
