Guest Terry S
BTW I was looking through the new Denso Catalogue on Saturday and noticed they are now recommending the IQ's and not the IK's for the Supra, incase anyone is interested.
Alex
really? How bizarre...they are the skyline plugs...also a bit cheaper...think the difference is going to be similar to the 6097's vs the 3330's (ie naff all)

merckx
I asked for some of these NGK BCPR7ES (6097) at Partco where I've had them before , he said they didn't have any in and he gave me an equivalent - Unipart GSP2023 I'm not sure if I should use them as I cannot find much to say if they are the equivalent, any ideas? Alex
Alex what were the NGKs like in the end, the other ones... I'm not really sure...it runs fine...but I feel they need a re-gap due to a mis/hesitation at over 1.1bar...but they are a bit special and I'm not sure if I should try to regap them. Or if in fact it's the plugs or the coils...
Alex
Yes,you're right! He did say they were the equivalent plugs! Equivilent or not it's your engine and your choice. Personally I'd get the known quantity. Partco didn't have the plugs last time I went to them, so I went to another local supplier (PANKS Auto Electrical of Norwich) and they had the full range of NGK's (3330's and 6097's in stock)
