BTW I was looking through the new Denso Catalogue on Saturday and noticed they are now recommending the IQ's and not the IK's for the Supra, incase anyone is interested.

I asked for some of these NGK BCPR7ES (6097) at Partco where I've had them before , he said they didn't have any in and he gave me an equivalent -

Unipart GSP2023

I'm not sure if I should use them as I cannot find much to say if they are the equivalent, any ideas?

Alex what were the NGKs like in the end, the other ones...

I'm not really sure...it runs fine...but I feel they need a re-gap due to a mis/hesitation at over 1.1bar...but they are a bit special and I'm not sure if I should try to regap them. Or if in fact it's the plugs or the coils...

Yes,you're right!

He did say they were the equivalent plugs! :)

Equivilent or not it's your engine and your choice. Personally I'd get the known quantity. Partco didn't have the plugs last time I went to them, so I went to another local supplier (PANKS Auto Electrical of Norwich) and they had the full range of NGK's (3330's and 6097's in stock)

I agree, don't want to take any chances. I'll try another place! :)
