Sakey
I'm currently refurbing an active spolier lip, and spraying it back to black. (Complete noob to this! ) Unfortunately it has a crack in it! I was wondering what is the best way to fix this (products and methods etc) or is it even worth attempting to fix it? Here is a couple of pictures of the crack http://img236.imageshack.us/img236/683/pic2.jpg http://img12.imageshack.us/img12/338/pic4gu.jpg http://img708.imageshack.us/img708/4538/pic3jr.jpg
miko_supra
Reinforce with fiberglass on the back and then smooth over with filler. Thats what I did on my last one with similar damge.

bluecoup
as above but you need to stop the crack or it will grow again so drill a small hole at the end of the crack this will stop the crack carrying on you might want to strip the paint back where it is crazed too or they will show though after a short time or even chase them out a tiny bit then fill Edited April 2, 2010 by bluecoup (see edit history)
