problems with speed limiter please help

hi there today i went to tdi in barking,they tryed fitting a hks t6 delimiter but these seemed to make no difference at all they seem to think it could be somthing to do with the trl speed convertor is this unit possible to be fitted and still be limited.if so what have i got to do to get the bloody thing off and feel some real speed any help will be greatly appreciated

Sorry, I don't know what an HKS T6 delimiter is. I assume you're still limited to 112 mph and the T6 is supposed to lift the limiter?

 

Which TRL unit do you have? - Most of them have a speed delimiter built in.

isnt the T6 delimiter only for a AUTO supra? that what yours is?? isnt it the one with about 15 wires comming out of it and they also wire to the trac ECU and a couple of other places so that not only does it delimit the car, it also does some other bits to the auto box or steering ect...

i believe my unit is a TRL DSC,also the car is an auto and your absolutly right about the t6 and all the wires.so does any body know if they can still be fitted and limited if so is it an easy job to do or a total pain
