Mark Ayling
I noticed the other thread about HKS Plugs and didn't want to hijack it so I've started my own... I have Blitz Iridium Spec plugs and I still suffer from misfiring at high boost, although admittedly not as bad as it was with stock plugs - what else can cause this? Thanks in advance, Mark. GavinL
Hi.... The gap on the plugs is also important, but I can't remember what.
Raoul H
Quote: from GavinL on 3:07 pm on Mar. 11, 2002[br] Hi.... The gap on the plugs is also important, but I can't remember what. Colder plugs (e.g. HKS, NGK 6's) should be gapped to 0.8mm if I remember correctly... Rgds,

Alex
yep .8 to .7 depending on your boost level Though I believe the coldness rating for the NGK should be 9 or 10...
Mark Ayling
I'm a bit confused now! The plugs I bought were "Blitz Iridium Spec", in a Blitz box and each plug in its own individual Blitz box, and yet on the actual plugs themselves it says NGK. So have I been bumped off or are the "Blitz" plugs made by NGK also?
Doughie
Mark yep I believe that iridium plugs are made by NGK and re-badged as Blitz Iridiums. Like a lot of car parts, there's often very few people who make them...

Alex
Mark do a search for NGK and you'll probably find the NGK spec you need
