Full decat question

Hi all, I currently have the first cat taken out, and have just purchased a second replacement decat. I'm going to get cooler spark plugs and some boost equipment, but was wondering if it was 'safe' to put the second cat on without changing anything. btw it's a standard exhaust at the moment, and UK spec, so I'm assuming my fuel pump will be adequate!

It'll be fine, as you may know the UK specs have a larger wastegate and are therefore more capable of preventing boost creep.

I have a double de-cat and still use a boost controller to get up to 1.15 bar, I did change the fuel pump though as the flow rates deteriorate over time and your is about 10 years old so may be worth getting a new one.

Hope this helps :D

sorry kev, i did mean to answer this but im abroad at the moment and forgot all about it. as others have said it will be fine. a boost gauge would be a very wise investment though
