Obscure LED electrical bit

Just wondering if anyone knew of anything like the below. I've tried searching on Maplin et al but with no sucess.

 

Basically I'm looking for some kind of socket for a standard 5mm LED with 0.1" pin spacing. Something I could either mount on a PCB or solder to a pair of flying leads that I could then simply plug a standard LED into.

 

I was thinking that some kind of PCB header strip might do the job, but the holes are too large to grip the LED pins.

I guess something like this would pretty much do the job.

 

I found them not long after I posted yesterday. There's a UK supplier for them, too, but I think they might be a bit too bulky. I'll get some prices anyhow.

 

A cheaper solution might be the way this guy has done it (except I'd do a much neater job ). I just need to look round Maplins to see if they have any suitable connectors.

My mate works for SLI so should be able to get anything for minature bulbs.

If theres anything that takes your fancy give me a shout & i'll see i can do, theyre not going to be £much, but i should be able to get them foc for you
